Capital Projection Services was contracted by the Algonquin Students’ Association to execute a comprehensive, high-fidelity permanent audio-visual installation. This project involved supplying, installing, and configuring a professional-grade projection and display system to enhance their facilities.
The installation services, carried out by two dedicated technicians, included:
- Premium Hardware Installation: The core components installed included a Sony VPL-FHZ80 6000LM WUXGA 3 LCD Laser Projector secured with a custom mount, paired with a specialized Sony VPLL-Z3009 Short Focus Zoom Lens (0.85-1.0 throw ratio).
- High-Quality Display: The video was matched with a wall-mounted, motorized 150-inch 4K Tab-Tensioned Screen (16:9 aspect ratio).
- Configuration: The project was completed by running two HDMI cables to a dedicated side wall box, followed by the meticulous setup, configuration, and alignment of the entire screen and projector system to ensure optimal performance.
This turnkey solution provides the Algonquin Students’ Association with a powerful, state-of-the-art visual system for events, presentations, and large-format displays.
