The Department of National Defence (DND) supports the Canadian Armed Forces in defending Canada’s interests at home and abroad. Capital Projection Services provided specialized technical support for a morning DND event (07:00–12:30) at the OAG that required integration of both in-person and virtual participation.
The support focused on seamless hybrid communication and clear presentation quality:
- Hybrid Communication: The technician managed the setup for remote presentation through MS Teams, facilitating interaction with off-site participants.
- Microphone Setup: The audio system included four microphones: two for the presenters and two for the audience to pose questions, ensuring a fluid Q&A period.
- Visuals and Lighting: The service also included providing a video screen or projector and a large screen for presentations, along with necessary lighting for the presenters.
This robust technical support ensured DND’s presenters could communicate their information effectively to both their physical and virtual audiences.
